Shenae Grimes

Well, I thought I would write about one of my massive influences regarding style and fashion.
Shenae Grimes...

Along with Alexa Chung and Kate Moss, Shenae Grimes is definitely someone i admire very very much.
Ever since I first watched 90210 (which i love) i fell in love with Shenae. Mainly her hair at first, as it was so long and mine was so short! But as i watched more, and as time went on, I started learning a lot about her. Her love for fashion and vintage, and how she creates her own style. Even in the new season of 90210 she styles her own character.
I absolutely love her style, she is so original and mixes designer with second hand and vintage. I love second hand clothes shopping as your almost guaranteed to find someone no one else will be wearing, and I hate having the same clothes as other people.
She gets the balance just right, and always looks great!
I urge everyone to go look at her blog ( http://officialshenaegrimes.com/) at least once, and take a look for yourself at her amazing style. If your a fan of vintage, original and designer, she is your girl!

Friday was a good day

So I haven't blogged over the weekend as I wasn't home at all.
Anyway Friday was a very good day for me, I had lots of deliveries :) exciting stuff. My blouse, iphone and books were all delivered.

As I'm a massive ebayer, I am constantly on there trying to find unique clothes, sometimes I don't even intend/want to buy anything and I end up on ebay searching stuff! Mainly jumpers, shirts and blouses, anyway here is a blouse I bought last week for just £1.04, cannot get over how cheap people sell things for!
I really love this! It is so cute, and I have been looking for a blouse with black ties for a while now, I like how it also doesn't have a color, which is unusual for me, I am normally all about the boy style comfy baggy shirts, but its nice to have something girly and cute!
I did think of replacing the buttons for black ones, but I am still unsure whether to... I'll keep you updated :)

Thursday 26 April 2012

Yesterday I met my mum on her lunch and we wondered around the charity shops in Brixham, I saw a couple things a few days ago, but was unsure weather to buy them, needed my lovely mums opinion haha

Bought this shirt. I really like it, but it is huge! I don't mind too much though, as I will mostly where it with skirts and shorts! Really like the colours and patterns, so cool.

Also bought this old ladys blouse! I absolutely love this, the pattern on it is so so nice, and I really like see though shirts!  The material is really nice as well, its rouged and really cute! The only problem is that the color is a little big, I'm going to ask my mum if there is anything she can do about it (i doubt not). Otherwise i love it too much not to wear it!

Boring...

The past few days have been boring and rubbish.
I am so sick of this weather now, constant rain is no fun. Every time i go out, i get absolutely soaked, and as a result I have been in the past 2 days! On the other hand, I did apply for about 20 jobs yesterday, boring jobs I don't want, but jobs none the less!
In conclusion, this week so far, has been boring.

Tuesday 24 April 2012

Going to start reading this...

I have been asking my mum for ages to find this book in the mess of our house, didn't want to have to buy a copy haha, and now she has finally found it! Going to start reading this now, very excited, as I have wanted to for so long!

Todays purchases.

Had to take my sister to the hospital to have a x-ray on her color bone, anywaaaaaay, I obviously had to do some shopping. I looked in all the charity shops and they were very disappointing! The only things i bought were 3 Charlaine Harris books! I absolutely love true blood, and have been meaning to read the books for so long! Couldn't resist buying these 3, for £1.99 each. Then I needed the whole collection, and came home and ebayed the first 2 so I can get started, I hope they come soon, I am dying to read!

Bought these cute little earrings from primark, saw some very similar in topshop a month or so ago, but didn't think they were worth the money but for £2, I had to buy these, so summery :)

Had to restock up on my hair products! Lee Stafford hair growth treatment is amazing! I recommend it to everyone! Not only does it make your hair really thick and healthy, makes it grow so fast! Herbal essences split end treatment is another good buy for your hair, really does work, and it was 2 for £5 in boots which was a good deal!

Ribbish

I am so totally rubbish as keeping at this, I must try harder.
Anyway this week I have bought some awesome things from the charity shop, some to sell some to keep...
I absolutely love this jumper! It was £3.25, bargain. I have a massive thing for jumpers and shirts, as you will see. I cannot resist, even the ones I don't like I have to buy haha. I think the patterns on this are so lovely, I have a weakness for patterned things also. The more hideous the more I seem to love it, so weird. When I bought this i contemplating putting it on ebay, but after wearing it all day today, that is a definite NO.

Bought this a couple weeks back now, from my favourite charity shop in Brixham. It was £1, can't get better than that really. Really like this, it is very similar to a lot of my other shirts, but it is sleeveless, so I thought it would be great in the summer. Need to get my needle and thread out and sew on a bottom button though, but for a pound, I am not complaining!

I got this shirt a few weeks ago for £1 and I am in love with it! When i bought it my mum just laughed at me, and at first I wasn't too sure if I would actually like it when it was on (never worn anything salmon pink before) but I love it even more on than off! For the past week or so, I have barely taken it off! I love the feel of it, its almost like a less rough version of suede, checked the label and it doesn't say what fabric it is. Definitely the best thing I have bought in a while!

Things I am selling.

Bought this for 50p! Hand knitted and is so cute, i originally bought it with the intention to sell, and after trying it on, still want to sell it. I'm not a massive fan of sleeveless cardigans.
Whoever made this put a lot of effort into it, it really is beautiful, the stitching and pattern in so lovely.

This is also going to be sold. Bought again for 50p, this white cardigan is really nice, but just not my kind of thing really, but for 50p i couldn't not buy it!
